Stormtroopers return to base
Welcome back Dov Ben Avraham and Tommy Plahcinski after lengthy secondments in two prominent Victorian Councils
After many long months we are very happy to welcome Dov Ben Abraham and Tommy Plahcinski back full time in our offices after secondments in two prominent Victorian Councils. Working in partnership with the City of Port Phillip and the Yarra Ranges Shire Council, the Storm team has been offering each Council in house multi-faceted support in Integrated Water Cycle Management (IWCM).
The City of Port Phillip structured Dov’s time so he sat in each of the relevant departments to share the knowledge and maximise his exposure to the wider council staff team. This integrated approach allowed Dov to be central to the needs of WSUD but enabled him to remind each team of how other groups are operating or how they could help on certain projects.
In contrast, Tommy sat permanently within The Yarra Ranges Shire Council’s Engineering team and offered support to other council groups. With a focus on the Little Stringybark Creek project, Tommy was also involved in development applications and general advice regarding IWCM projects within the municipality. Tommy’s time at Council was extended twice, highlighting the clear benefit he offered them.
With a full team back in place, the Storm offices are keen to continue a great working relationship with all our Council clients, with the benefit that comes from knowing their operations. Wecome back Stormtroopers!
